From Preschool through High School, bilingual education integrates Portuguese and English into students’ school experience, providing an education that goes beyond learning a second language. To prepare students to engage in a global and diverse world, Escola Bilíngue Pueri Domus has developed a bilingual educational approach that combines the competencies established by the Brazilian National Common Core Curriculum (BNCC) with international curriculum standards. In High School, the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme is integrated into the curriculum, and all students are IB students. Recognized by leading universities in Brazil and abroad, the programme expands students’ academic opportunities both in Brazil and worldwide.

An evolution in promoting this educational principle is Pueri Maker, an environment equipped with workbenches, tools, 3D printer and other resources to design projects. The idea is to enhance this space over time with the students’ own suggestions, since there are no restrictions here to creativity and entrepreneurship.

Since 2010, Escola Bilíngue Pueri Domus has been part of the global community of IB World Schools and has built a strong track record in international education. Today, four Pueri Domus campuses are authorized to offer the Diploma Programme, creating a broad academic ecosystem supported by a shared culture of excellence, collaboration and continuous learning.
In High School, the Diploma Programme is integrated into the curriculum, and all students are IB students. The programme develops intellectual rigor, autonomy, critical thinking and an international mindset, preparing young people to understand different perspectives, address complex challenges and expand their academic opportunities in Brazil and abroad. As IB World Schools, our campuses are authorized and evaluated by the International Baccalaureate, ensuring alignment with the programme’s high international standards.
